Reaching the Beaches

Korea Strait (Sea of Japan): For Mitoma beach east of the city, take the subway to Kaizuka station, then transfer to the Nishitetsu Miyajidake line to Mitoma station. Takes about 20 minutes or so. From the station, it's a 10 minutes walk to the beach. Serves as a surfing spot around the end of August.
