The driverless VAL metro in southern France has works of art in all stations. A booklet titled "Galeries d'Art" is available at some of the ticket booths. Line B is newer and its artworks are slightly more striking than those on line A. Take a look at the concourse levels as they are usually the best. The high frequency of the small automated trains makes it easy to exit at every station without wasting too much time.
